Jayann F. Lamontagne, 71, resident of Milford, NH, died unexpectedly on June 14, 2021 at her home. She was born in Scituate, MA on September 30, 1949, a daughter of Harold C.P. and Roberta J. (Harper) Toomey. Jayann was raised and educated in Milford and graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s, Nashua, NH, Class of 1967. Prior to moving back to Milford 10 years ago, she had made her home in Londonderry, NH for 30 years. Jayann had been employed by the New Hampshire Highway Department as a toll attendant for more than 15 years. In addition, she had also worked for New England Telephone Company for 10 years. She enjoyed crafts, baking, cooking, sewing, quilting, embroidery and working in her vegetable garden and canning. Jayann cooked meals and brought them down to The Mill for their weekly gathering and she also made diapers for preemies in the NIC Unit at area hospitals. She loved horses, whether it was riding or attending horse shows. Family members include her husband of 40 years, Paul G. Lamontagne of Milford; a stepson, Shaw Lamontagne and his wife Missi; a step daughter, Marcia Webb; four grandchildren, Lance Corporal USMC Wyatt Lamontagne, Cameron Lamontange of Londonderry, NH, Teighlor Webb of Phoenix, AZ and Brianna Webb of Vale, AZ; several grandchildren; three sisters, Patricia J. Toomey Hamel of Nashua, NH, Winifred M. Maki and her husband Gregg, and Kathleen A. Yale of Gilford, NH; many nieces and nephews; and one great niece. Services will be held at a later date.
