Janice Ann Coburn

Janice Ann (Richards) Coburn of Manchester, NH passed away peacefully on November 14, 2014 after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. Born on July 16, 1960 to JoAnn and Bernard Richards of West Palm Beach, Janice enjoyed life with her husband of 32 years, Blair, and loved nothing more than her family, her lifetime work as an early childhood educator, Christmastime, and all things Wizard of Oz. Janice especially enjoyed spending time with Blair at their vacation home on Lake Winnisquam with their daughters Katie (Coburn) Robert and Allie (Coburn) Degon, their sons-in-law Chris Robert and Ryan Degon, and their granddaughters Madelyn and Norah Robert. Also holding a special place in Janice’s heart were her brothers and spouses, and their daughters: Bill Richards and Gary McBournie of Boston (daughters Brooke, Hayley, and Paige), and Steven and Christy Richards of Topsfield (daughters Julia, Caroline, and Olivia). Janice is preceded by her grandparents, and survived by her father-in-law, Roger Coburn of Beverly, cousins, aunts, uncles, and countless friends and supporters. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 18th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 am in St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford.
