Janet L. Foreman

Janet L. Foreman, 62, longtime resident of Milford, died on February 26, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Nashua, NH on February 2, 1952, a daughter of John and Barbara (McCullough) Griffiths. Janet was raised and educated in Milford and graduated from Milford High School. She had worked as an LNA at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Jaffrey for several years. In addition, she lived in Maine for many years and had worked at Sunday River. One of Janet’s greatest joys was baking and at one point she owned a bakery in Maine. She was always cooking and making sweets and it brought her joy and happiness to share her sweets with everyone. She loved skiing, being outdoors, gardening, hiking and visiting the White Mountains. Janet also loved traveling around the country and her excursions to England and Ireland. She enjoyed going to the ocean, collecting sea glass, knitting and very much treasured the time she spent with family. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother and grandmother. Family members include her husband, Wayne Foreman of Milford; a daughter, Jennifer Merrill and her boyfriend, Adam Campagna of Keene, NH; three sons and daughters-in-law, Matthew and Joanne Cox of Manchester, NH, Keith and Patsy Cox of Gilead, ME, Nathan and Erin Cheever of Auburn, ME; ten grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Debbie Griffiths of Wilton, NH; several nieces and nephews. Memorial visiting hours will be held on March 8th from 2:00-4:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford.
