James John Molony

Beloved James John Molony, 47, of Milford, NH, passed away July 17, 2018. Born on May 29, 1971, in Des Plaines, Illinois, Jim is the son of Anne Kathryn Molony and the late William James Molony. Jim was a 1989 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School (PA). After high school he served honorably in the United States Air Force. Following the Air Force, Jim attended Penn State University main campus where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology. He spent his career in various IT positions throughout industry and government, including IT management positions. Jim was a kind, gentle, and devoted father, son, brother, relative and friend to whom family meant everything. He was an avid fisherman, a talented artist, and skilled at fixing almost anything. His infectious laugh made everything better and funnier. He is survived by four children, Johnathan Patrick and Isabell Joyce Molony, 14, Quintin James Molony, 10, and Sophie Lynn Molony, 8, of Hooksett, NH; his mother, Anne Kathryn (O’Toole) Molony, 68, of Hagerstown, MD; brother Sean Michael Molony, 45, and Sister-in-Law Dionne Marie (Koehler) Molony, 48, of Saylorsburg, PA; brother Scott Patrick Molony, 43, and Sister-in-Law Addy Anne (Ierace) Molony, 43, of Westminster, MD; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces, and friends. He was preceded in death by Grandparents Joseph Leon and Isabell Virginia (Wishard) O’Toole, Father William James Molony, Uncle Patrick Joseph O’Toole, Aunt Doreen Maria (O’Toole) Mouer, Aunt Debra Marlene (Jenkins) O’Toole, and Cousin Jeffrey Allen O’Toole. A Celebration of Life will be held at the historic Robert Kennedy Church at 11799 Mercersburg Rd.; Mercersburg, PA 17225, on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the James Molony Memorial Fund; F.B.O. Molony Children.
