James F. Stone

James F. Stone, 85, resident of Milford, NH, died peacefully at his home on May 2, 2016. He was born in New York City on August 8, 1930, a son of James and Josephine (Merner) Stone. He was raised and educated in Somerville, MA and made his home in Milford for the past 50 years. Mr. Stone had been employed in the banking industry for more than 30 years and retired from Bank Boston. He enjoyed camping, making homemade wine, genealogy and working his garden. Mr. Stone was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford and a member of the Milford Council Knights of Columbus #3035. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Family members include his wife of 59 years, Jeanne M. (Trainor) Stone of Milford; a son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Brenda Stone of Hollis, NH; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Glenn Wright of Wilton, NH; three grandchildren, Krysta Thomas, Chad Wright and Amanda Garnham; and six great grandchildren. . There are no calling hours. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, May 25th at 1:00 p.m.in St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford, NH.
