James Bryan Duff

James Bryan Duff, 60, resident of Mont Vernon, NH, passed away on October 11, 2010 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH. Jim was born on June 22, 1950 in Bloomington, Indiana, to parents Robert Keith Duff and the late Anne Schooley Duff. Raised and educated in Bloomington, Indiana, Jim earned his Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado. A long time IT Consulting Engineer for Hewlett Packard, Jim recently formed his own company to lead large scale IT projects for commercial enterprises and government agencies. A devoted family man and loyal friend to many, Jim enjoyed playing and listening to music and reading. He also coached girl’s basketball and had a deep interest and understanding of history and the sciences. Jim was a kind, intelligent and gentle man whose family will always love and miss him very much. In addition to Jim’s father, Robert Keith Duff, surviving family members include his wife of 26 years, Kirsten (Reis) Duff; three daughters, Molly, Hannah and Jennifer Duff, all of Mont Vernon, NH; eight brothers, Michael Duff and John Duff, both of Indianapolis, IN, Thomas Duff and Timothy Duff, both of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jeffrey Duff and David Duff, both of Bloomington IN, William Duff of Memphis, TN and Joseph Duff of Chicago, IL; two sisters, Roberta Shea of Bloomington, IN and Teresa Hawley of North Canton, OH. There are no calling hours. A memorial service in Indianapolis, Indiana will be announced for later in the fall. Donations in Jim’s memory may be made to the James B. Duff Memorial Fund at Trustmark Bank in Memphis, Tennessee.
