Iva E. Webster

Iva E. Webster, 86, longtime resident of Milford, NH, died on May 14, 2018 at Bedford Hills Nursing Home, Bedford, NH after a period of declining health. She was born in North Stratford, NH on March 6, 1932, a daughter of the late Estelle B. Jordan. Iva was raised and educated in North Stratford, NH and earned her GED. She later went on to attend the New Hampshire Vocational Technical College in Berlin, NH. She worked as a nurse’s aide and as a nanny for many years. While living in Milford, she was a member of the Christian Life Assembly of God in Milford and later joined the Merrimack Valley Baptist Church, Merrimack, NH. She was predeceased by her son, David E. Webster Jr., who died in 1993. Family members include her four daughters; Linda Smith of Amherst, NH, Lucinda Gureckis of Belmont, NH, Tammy Hooten of Indiana and Cheryl Morancie of Wilton, NH; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visiting hours are on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home. Burial will be in Village Cemetery, Colebrook, NH. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to a Jewish charity of your choice.
