Ian D. Anderson

Ian D. Anderson, 21, died October 29, 2010 in Brookline, NH. Born in Honduras on August 15, 1989, he was a son of David L. and Libby (Wehrle) Anderson of Brookline, NH, where he was raised and educated. Ian was registered to begin the winter term in the culinary program at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, Cambridge, MA. He loved the outdoors, especially skiing and hiking. In addition, he enjoyed writing poetry, drawing and was also a talented songwriter and rapper. Ian was a devoted son, loving brother and was excited about being a new father. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he leaves behind his infant son; two sisters, Elisa Anderson of Sunapee, NH and Allison Smith of Norwich, CT; a brother, Scott Anderson of Yarmouth, MA; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial visiting hours are Monday evening, November 1st from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 am in St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a fund for his infant son, c/o David Anderson, 16 Parker Street, Brookline, NH 03033.
