Howard R. Dunklee

Howard R. Dunklee, 70, longtime resident of Nashua, NH, died on August 13, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua, NH. He was born in Goffstown, NH on September 3, 1942, a son of Lester and Mildred (Frost) Davis. He made his home in Nashua for more than 35 years and formerly lived in Milford for several years. Howard had been employed by Alpine Grove in Hollis, NH for many years and had also worked for Bud Thornton’s Paving Company, Nashua, NH. He enjoyed going to carnivals and fairs and watching wrestling on television. Howard was predeceased by a son, Howard R. Dunklee, Jr. Family members include his wife, Carol A. (Mack) Dunklee of Nashua; a daughter, Carol A. Dunklee; five sons, Edward Parker, Robert J. Dunklee and his wife, Debra, Kenneth Dunklee, Mark Dunklee and Scott Dunklee, all of Nashua; 13 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; a brother, Lester Davis of Brookline, NH; a sister, Esther Darling of CA; several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours are on Friday, August 16th from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with funeral costs.
