Helen L. Staiti

Helen L. Staiti, 70, longtime resident of Amherst, NH, died and entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on May 16, 2014 at Crestwood Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Milford. She was born in Worcester, MA on June 7, 1943, a daughter of William and Helen (Archer) Aldrich. Helen was a homemaker for most of her life and was most happy when surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford and in her spare time she enjoyed going fishing with her husband. Family members include her husband of 44 years, George J.L. Staiti of Amherst; three daughters, Dona M. Vander Heyden of Dorchester, MA, Barbara Vander Heyden Arnold of Brookline, NH and Cora Staiti of Nashua, NH; a son, Anthony Staiti of Milford, NH; four step children, Thomas Staiti of Wilton, NH, David Staiti of Antrim, NH, Cynthia Proctor of Hopkinton, MA and Christine Staiti of Arlington, MA; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; three brothers, William Aldrich and David Aldrich, both of FL, Walter Aldrich of CA; many nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 21st at 10:00 am in St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Share Outreach Inc., 1 Columbus Avenue, Milford, NH 03055.
