Helen F. Trombly, 95, resident of Milford, NH, died November 14, 2010 at Hyder Family Hospice House, Dover, NH. She was born in Manchester, NH on March 31, 1915, a daughter of the late Luke F. and Cora (Arnold) Cunningham. She was raised in the Amoskeag Mills community of Manchester and was educated in the parochial school system, having graduated from St. Joseph’s (Girls) School, Class of 1933. She made her home in Milford for more than 75 years. Following her retirement in 1980 from Servomation Company, Nashua, she and her husband wintered in Tampa, Florida. An avid reader, she enjoyed cooking and most especially loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Trombly was a faithful communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford, a member of the Rosary Altar Society and the Women’s Catholic Club. She was predeceased by her husband, Corlis F. Trombly, who died in 1986; two sisters, Mary Fillion and Margaret Besakirskis. Family members include two sons, Thomas F. Trombly of Hooksett, NH and Morris G. Trombly of De Soto, MO; a daughter, Virginia DiFrancesco of Paw Paw, WV; 9 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren; a sister, Alice Skoglund of Manchester, NH; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Thursday, November 18th from 5:00-8:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am in St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Amherst.
