Harold W. Goss, Ii

Harold W. Goss, II, 61, resident of Milford, NH, died July 4, 2011 at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH. He was born in Nashua, NH on May 16, 1950, a son of the late Harold W. Goss, Sr. and Phyllis L. (Slate) Goss. Harold resided in Milford for most of his life and graduated from Milford High School, Class of 1971. He had been employed by Hitchiner Manufacturing Company and Hendrix Wire & Cable Company, Milford, for many years. He later worked as a truck driver for Total Air Supply Company, having retired several years ago. Harold was an avid fisherman, NASCAR fan and enjoyed reading, especially westerns. In addition, he adored his cats, Shadow and Inky. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1974 until he was honorably discharged in 1980. Harold was predeceased by a son, Harold W. Goss, III and a sister, Leah Thebodeau. Family members include two daughters, Kristina Johnson and Mari Chapman, both of Milford; a son, John Goss of Milford; eight grandchildren; two uncles, Robert Goss of Milford, Larry Goss and his wife, Doris of Glens Falls, NY; and several cousins. There are no visiting hours. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 7th at 10:00 am in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua, with military honors.
