Gregory P. Hicks Jr.

We are heartbroken to announce the unexpected passing of our son, brother, grandson Gregory.

Gregory Paul Hicks Jr. was born July 1, 1990, in Nashua, NH and passed away April 20, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua, NH, due to severe sudden complications due to asthma.

Gregory was a shining light in all our lives, and to know Gregory was to love him. He was a wonderful soul that will be forever missed.

Gregory being a caring soul, it was his wish to be an organ donor, and we respected his wishes. We take comfort in knowing that in our deepest sorrow Gregory lives on in others.

He had a kind spirit, he always saw the good in everyone as well as the silver lining in every situation. He was a funny kid with quick wit and an infectious laugh that could brighten any situation.

Gregory enjoyed the simple things in life. He was easily pleased and content being close to home spending fun times with his family and friends. We will cherish those memories.

He loved food and enjoyed cooking. Gregory definitely knew his way around the kitchen. He loved watching movies, especially horror and scary movies, “IT’ was his all time favorite movie.

He loved all sports and obsessively followed his favorite teams and players. He would follow stats on any player and any team and could tell you what position they played, the last play they made and any other information you wanted to know. He amazed us all with the knowledge and the ability to retain and recite it all from memory.

Gregory was a huge hockey and football fan. He loved the Boston Bruins, but he followed all hockey with a passion. He also loved the New England Patriots but his other favorite teams included the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys.

Gregory loved his sports attire and proudly wore and represented all his favorite teams and players.

Gregory Paul was just an amazingly good kid with a heart of gold. He saw the world with different eyes. He showed love and cared for people without judgement. If you knew Gregory then you know you were blessed to have crossed paths, and he surely left a lasting impression on you. Gregory was truly a special gift and we were all blessed to have loved him.

Gregory was predeceased by his father, Greogry P. Hicks Sr.; paternal grandfather, Bruce Hicks Sr.; maternal grandmother, Esther Miner; and his paternal grandmother, Diane Altemus.

Gregory is sadly survived by his mother and step-father, Lisa M. Hicks and Edward X. Dodd of Milford, NH; his uncle, Bruce Hicks Jr. of Manchester, NH whom was a father figure to Gregory; his younger brother, Tyler Hicks of Belmont, NH; his beloved baby nephew, Nico Hicks; his paternal step-grandmother, Toni (Joyce) Hicks of Milford, NH; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
