Grace V. Cook

Grace V. Cook, 92, resident of Milford, NH, died on January 30, 2017 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Nashua, NH. She was born in Cambridge, MA on March 10, 1924, a daughter of Frederick and Catherine (St. George) Camell. Grace made her home in Milford for the past 32 years and formerly lived in Arlington, MA for many years. She loved being a homemaker, raising and caring for her family. In addition, she was an avid camper and also enjoyed crocheting. Grace was predeceased by her husband, Earl G. Cook. Family members include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Earl W. and Sheila M. Cook of Swampscott, MA, and Thomas F. Cook of Milford, NH with whom she made her home; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy L. Cook and Jacob Apuzzo of Kennebunkport, ME; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours are on Thursday, February 2nd from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Riverside Cemetery, 454 Nashua Street, Milford, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
