Gloria M. Deans

Gloria M. Deans, 82, resident of Hillsboro House Nursing Home in Hillsborough, NH, died Friday, October 17, 2008.� Gloria was born in Lynn, MA on February 9, 1926.� She was the daughter of Greta (Connolly), and stepdaughter of Frank Currier.� � Gloria graduated from Hollis High School in Hollis, NH.� She was a resident of Hillsboro House for a short time, previously residing in Loudon, NH for almost 30 years.� In addition, she and her late husband wintered in Boynton Beach, Florida for more than 20 years. Over the course of her husbands military career, they traveled extensively throughout the United States, including the Territory of Alaska.� Mrs. Deans was a loving mother, a devoted grandmother and great grandmother.� Her husband, Lt. Col. David H. Deans, US Air Force (ret), and her brother, Joe Gustafson predeceased her.� Family members include her daughter, Marilyn Deans Dimon (Daniel) of Boynton Beach, FL; four grandchildren, Jamie S. Deans (Jessica) of Raleigh, NC, Jessica M. Ford (Raymond) of Windsor, NH, Jennifer L. Loos (Cameron) of Camp Lejeunne, NC and June M. Carter of Boston, MA; seven great grandchildren, Riley, Caden and Kathryn Deans, Courtney and Gavin Ford, Ysabella and Sabrina Loos.� Visiting hours are Monday evening, October 20th from 6-8 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.� Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am in the funeral home.� Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Milford.�
