Some of the most favorite things that Glen loved to do were picking Ricci Del Mar, (Sea Urchins) with his Grandfather Rocco Tombarello and later with his Uncle Michael Tombarello. When he was younger, he held a special place in his heart for time spent swimming, fishing and boating at the family camp “Lazy Daze” on Little Island Pond with all of the Hering family. He was an outdoor kind of person and enjoyed working around the yard at the home in Methuen MA and Milford, NH, his parent’s home, for the last 9 years of his life. Most recently, he found great pleasure mingling with his new found friends at the VFW in Milford, NH where he played a game of pool as often as he could. His pets (and he had many of them) were a joy in his life. He adored his cat Kozmo, his most recent cat Nikki and Penny the family dog. Glen was an avid reader of Jack Reacher books authored by Lee Child, he read every one of them and always added to his collection. He enjoyed word search puzzles, was a master of them and could finish them in sequence faster than anyone we know. He loved to draw sketches of “Kilroy Was Here” in the snow, sand and on the steamed up windows and on all his paperwork. “Kilroy Was Here” signed by G.M.H was his favorite signature. He liked taking long walks in the woods looking for the perfect branch to make his walking sticks that he shared freely with many people whom he knew.
