Gerlinde H. Harris

Gerlinde “Oma” H. Harris, age 76, died at her home in Milford, New Hampshire on June 20, 2015. She was born in Hochst, Germany July 9, 1938. She was the fourth child of Heinrich and Anna Wittich. Gerlinde moved to Watsonville, California in 1963 and lived there until 2004. While in Watsonville she worked for Oliverius Cleaners and was a home healthcare provider. She moved to New Hampshire to retire and live closer to her daughter. “Oma” could make anyone smile and feel special. She always had big hugs and kisses for everyone. She loved her family and friends. No one was a stranger to her. Many will remember her colorful and sequined ball caps. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Parker, and husband, Bryne of Bedford, New Hampshire; her son, Brian Harris and wife, Nancy and grandson, Will of Texarkana, Arkansas; her brother, Klaus and wife, Ingrid of Hattersheim, Germany. The family is planning a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
