Geraldine "Geri" S. Dickerman

Geraldine �Geri� S. (Watson) Dickerman, 74, of Milford, died peacefully on January 5, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. Geri was born on March 30, 1934 in Greenfield, NH. She was the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Florence Watson. She graduated from Milford High School with the Class of 1952 and continued throughout the years to help organize the Class Reunions. She retired as a legal secretary from the law firm of Colin Lizotte. Geri lived most of her life in Milford and was an active member of the Milford �Do It� Committee, the Garden Club and Historical Society. She loved gardening, crocheting, woodworking, painting, wreath making and her handiwork is enjoyed by all who knew her. She enjoyed music, dancing and rides in the Corvettes. She made friends wherever she went. Geri is survived by her beloved husband of almost 45 years, Russ; her sister-in-law, Virginia Saytanides and many, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and good friends. She was a �Mother� to all in various ways � comforting, chatting, cooking, and just generally being there when needed. She will be greatly missed by all. Her beloved pets Nikki and Kimmi will miss her dearly. She was predeceased by a sister, Madeliene Shattuck, and brother, Lester Watson. Geri and Russ were responsible for saving the lost Town of Monson, NH. They take pride in the restoration of the J. Gould House and have been the primary caretakers of the property since 1998. And so when you visit Monson, in honor of Geri, plant a flower, pull some weeds or fill the bird feeder. This is a legacy they have created for future generations to enjoy. Services for Geri will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Society for the Protection of NH Forest, earmarked for Monson, 54 Portsmouth Street, Concord, NH 03301-9965.
