Gerald E. Estes

Gerald E. Estes, 87, resident of Milford, NH, died at his home on May 2, 2024, after a period of declining health.

He was born on February 1, 1937, in Weymouth, MA, a son of the late Walter and Charlotte (Pfiefer) Estes.

Gerald was raised and educated in MA before joining the United States Navy, where he served on the USS Stribling in Norfolk, VA. He later served over twenty years in the Army National Guard. Gerald was a trained machinist and mechanic. He worked for Ford Motor Company and for Redi-mix for many years. He enjoyed time with his family, traveling, and his Harley Davidson.

Survivors include his loving companion of many years, Faye Tanguay of Milford, NH, and three children, Richard Estes of MA, Cindy (Estes) Thompson of FL, and Lisa (Estes) Semerly of MA in addition to his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

SERVICES: In accordance with his wishes there will be no formal services held. Following cremation, he will be buried at sea with Navy Honors.
