Georgianna G. Bayerle, 94, resident of Amherst, NH, died January 11, 2009 at her home. She was born in Stoneham, MA on March 25, 1914, a daughter of the late Leslie F. and Mabel (Hall) Johnson. Mrs. Bayerle resided in Amherst for more than six years and formerly lived in Miami, Florida for fifty years. While living in Miami, she had been employed as a waitress at Berdines. Mrs. Bayerle was an avid sports fan and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and loved to go deep-sea fishing. She was always smiling and had a wonderful wit and sense of humor. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Bayerle and two sons, Richard Smith and Norman Smith. Family members include two daughters, Phyllis Pereira and Judith Grondin, both of Woburn, MA; three sons, Roland Smith of Woburn, MA, Lawrence Smith of Billerica, MA and George Smith of Amherst, NH; 26 Grandchildren; 58 Great Grandchildren and several Great-Great Grandchildren. Visiting hours are Wednesday evening, January 14th from 5-8 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 399 Silver Street, Manchester, NH 03103.
