Georgia Dadoly passed away on December 14, 2017, while briefly in the care of hospice, with her loving family present. She was born in Dracut, MA, daughter of the late Konstantine and Efthymia (Phousias) Dadolys, sister of Anna Pappadopoulos, James, Nicholas and Leonidas Dadoly and was pre-deceased by siblings Elizabeth Miliotis, Milton, Evangelos, Christos and Thomas Dadoly. She also leaves good friends Alice McCarthy and George Peppas and was a devoted ‘Aunt Dolly’ to numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews in New England and throughout the USA. She was a graduate of Dracut High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Lowell Technological Institute of Massachusetts (UML), advanced degrees and studies at WPI, RPI and Tuft’s University. She was a Department Head in Science at Wilmington High School and continued her career as a science teacher at the American Community School in Athens, Greece for ten years. She especially loved Greece. While there she travelled extensively throughout the world working in her career field. She held patents in her name in textile and dyestuffs technology. In Boothbay Harbor, ME where she lived she enjoyed her garden, walking and boating. She also was a co-founder of Tennis Anyone located in the White Mountains of NH. Burial will be at the Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell, MA next to her beloved parents at the time when spring flowers bloom. Donations may be given in her name to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, NH 03054 or to a charity of their choice in the battle against cancer.
