George J. Misodoulakis

George J. Misodoulakis, 82, resident of Milford, NH, died on November 19, 2012 at Crestwood Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Milford, NH. He was born in Pawtucket, RI on March 11, 1930, a son of John and Mary (Ambrosiades) Misodoulakis. Mr. Misodoulakis had resided in Milford for the past 6 years and formerly lived in Merrimack, NH for several years and Hudson, NH for many years. George grew up in Paterson, NJ where he met his wife Dolores and raised his family. They relocated to Hudson, NH in 1970 when he accepted a position at Raytheon where he managed the computer division. After Raytheon he moved to Commercial Union in Boston, MA in the same capacity until he retired. Following his retirement, he worked at Buckmeadow Golf Club in Amherst, NH. Mr. Misodoulakis was an avid golfer and enjoyed daily matches with his friends. Other hobbies George enjoyed were bowling, playing cards, and working on computers. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He was predeceased by a son, George J. Misodoulakis, Jr.; and a grandson, Gregory G. Misodoulakis. Family members include his wife of 62 years, Dolores (Moorhouse) Misodoulakis of Milford; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Moriarty and Kevin Jones of Milford; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory and Celeste Misodoulakis of Lakeville, MA, Mark and Susan Misodoulakis of Litchfield, NH; six grandchildren; a sister, Mae Russell of Mont Vernon, NH; several nieces and nephews. Memorial visiting hours will be held on Friday, November 30th from 4:00-6:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his grandson’s scholarship, The Gregory G.
