Gary C. Chapman, 69, resident of Milford, NH, died on October 5, 2012 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Nashua, NH. He was born in Springfield, MO on November 16, 1942, a son of Clyde and Katherine (Krischel) Chapman. Mr. Chapman loved the state of Missouri where he made his home until moving to Milford nine years ago. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Southwest Missouri State University (now Missouri State University), and was employed as a Contract Agent for Fasco Industries in Ozark, MO for over 30 years. He was also a member of the Springfield, MO Jaycees. Mr. Chapman loved the outdoors, fishing, photography, all types of music (especially jazz), and going to the area flea markets. He was a communicant of St. Patrick Church, Milford. Mr. Chapman served in the US Army Reserve, Quartermaster Corps, at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. He was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather. Family members include his wife of 49 years, Carolyn (Clayton) Chapman of Milford; a son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Deanne Chapman of Bedford, NH; a daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Timothy Harris of Manchester, NH; two grandchildren, Kacey and Lilly Chapman, both of Bedford, NH. There are no calling hours. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, October 12th at 10:00 am in St. Patrick Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to SHARE Outreach (www.sharenh.org).
