Gage A. Lafontaine

Gage A. LaFontaine, 16, resident of Milford, NH, died April 27, 2009 in New Boston, NH as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Nashua, NH, on October 21, 1992, a son of Scott R. & Tracie J. (Dexter) LaFontaine of Milford. Gage resided in Milford for the past 14 years and was currently a sophomore at Milford High School. His passion was hockey and he had played for the Panthers Youth Hockey Association of Nashua and the Hollis Cavaliers Youth Hockey Association. Gage also enjoyed skateboarding and listening to all types of music. In addition to his parents, family members include three brothers, Jacob A. LaFontaine of Keene, NH, Cameron LaFontaine and Jude LaFontaine, both of Milford; maternal grandparents, Judy Dexter of Nashua, NH, Lawrence Dexter of Tucson, AZ; paternal grandparents, Robert N. & Barbara LaFontaine of Fort Myers, FL; two great grandmothers, Carol Brill of Nashua, NH, Eleanor Martin of Dracut, MA; several aunts and uncles, Tammie & Brian Paquette and Laurie Saunders, all of Milford, Kevin & Joan LaFontaine of Jaffrey, NH, Karen Sutton, Lisa LaFontaine, Holly & Mike Viola, all of Fort Myers, FL; and many cousins. Visiting hours are Thursday, April 30th from 1-4 & 6-9 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:00 am in The Amato Center located at The Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley, 56 Mont Vernon Street, Milford, additional parking is available at Keyes Field. A reception will be held at 11:00 am at the VFW on Perkins Street, Milford.
