Gabrielle E. Williams

Gabrielle E. Williams, 80, resident of New Ipswich, NH, died March 8, 2009 at Monadnock Community Hospital, Peterborough, NH. She was born in Shirley, MA on October 1, 1928, a daughter of the late Leo & Renee (Michaud) Gendron. Mrs. Williams resided in New Ipswich, NH for the past 7 years and formerly lived in Mason for 27 years, Brookline for 18 years and Fremont, NH for several years. She had been employed by Grant Plastics in Brookline, NH for 10 years. In addition, she drove a school bus for the Milford School System and was the bread maker at Parkers Maple Barn in Mason. Mrs. Williams was a member of Vineyard Christian Church in Rindge, NH, and enjoyed spending time crocheting and gardening. She was a loving mother, a devoted grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Williams was predeceased by her husband, Norman E. Williams, Sr. and four sons, Raymond E., Lawrence E., Donald E., and Norman E. Williams, Jr.; a grandson, Keith Hendrick; and a brother, Adrien Gendron. Family members include a son, Ronald E. Williams of Lyndeborough, NH; two daughters, Debra E. Hendrick of Raymond, NH and Barbara E. Somero of New Ipswich, NH; 14 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren; four brothers, Leon Gendron of Oviedo, FL, Gerald Gendron of Shirley, MA, Rene Gendron of Fitchburg, MA and Ernest Gendron of Whidbey Island, WA; two sisters, Florida May of Shirley, MA and Estelle Comeau of Dunedin, FL; many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours are Friday, March 13th from 5:00-8:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:30 am in the Brookline Community Church, 14 Main Street, Brookline, NH. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Brookline, NH.
