Frederick A. Hamel

Frederick A. Hamel, devoted husband of Rosemary, with whom he shared 56 years, died peacefully on May 3, 2012 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, N.H. Fred was born in Springfield, MA; one of seven children. He held degrees from Boston and Columbia Universities, was a proud Korean War veteran; and enjoyed a long career in human resources. He is survived by four children and five grandchildren. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 7, 10:30 a.m., at Saint John Neumann Church, 708 Milford Road, Route 101A, Merrimack, NH. There will be a private burial at a later date.
