Frederick A. “Rick” Bewersdorf III, 46, resident of Wilton, NH, died on February 10, 2014 in Milford. He was born in Nashua, NH on July 27, 1967, a son of Frederick A. Bewersdorf Jr. and Sally (Roberts) Bewersdorf of Amherst, NH. Rick was raised and educated in Nashua and graduated from Nashua High School, Class of 1986. He earned his Associate’s Degree in Taxidermy from Finger Lakes Community College, Canandaigua, NY. He was a talented artist and taxidermist for the past 27 years and owned Big Game Custom Taxidermy and Restoration, Wilton, NH. In his younger years, Rick was an outstanding skater and goalie playing youth hockey in the local area. Rick was an avid outdoorsman and was known as the critter control person. In addition, he was a gifted musician who loved to sing and played the drums. In addition to his parents, family members include three daughters of whom he was incredibly proud: Trysten, Eva and Olivia Bewersdorf, all of Amherst; two sisters, Carolyn McNamara and her husband, Robert of Hollis, NH, Dawna McCarthy of Chalfont, PA; a brother, Karl Bewersdorf of Nashua, NH; two nephews, Ian McNamara and Andrew Assad; four nieces, Chelsea McNamara, Sally McCarthy, Madelyn McCarthy and Elysse Bewersdorf; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
