Frank Almon Fogg Of Center Conway, NH died peacefully on Dec. 8th, 2015. Born on September 9, 1922, Al, as he was known to his many friends and family, went to high school at the Parsonsfield Seminary in Parsonsfield, ME. He attended Boston University, but left during his sophomore year to enlist in the Navy. During the war he was stationed on a destroyer escort in the Mediterranean and saw action while protecting allied shipping lanes from enemy submarines. Al spent the majority of his working years as Postmaster for the United States Post Office starting in Center Ossipee, NH and finishing his career in the North Conway office. Al was very involved with his community and helped the local youth in Center Ossipee start the first youth center call the Gallows. He was also a member of the Freedom, NH Masonic lodge. He was the loving father of Alana and her husband Dan Turman of Leesburg, FL, Hall and his wife Jo-Ann Fogg of Amherst, NH, and Tenley Fogg of Wolfeboro, NH, and a brother, William Fogg of Portland, ME. He was pre-deceased by his long-time partner, Ester Potter of Center Conway, NH, and through her leaves behind Deborah and Robert Alward of Ossipee, NH, Nora and John Stead of Farmington, NH, Jean and Leonard Beller of Newport Ctr. VT, and Virginia & Stephen Potter of Hopkinton, NH. According to family wishes no services are being planned.
