Eunice B. Ovens

Eunice B. Ovens, 90, resident of Milford, NH, died August 20, 2012 at Crestwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Milford. She was born in Enfield, MA on March 10, 1922, a daughter of Coleman F. and Edna (Cummins) Tyler. Mrs. Ovens had lived in Milford for many years and was formerly a longtime resident of Hollis, NH. She had been employed by Bemis Bag Company in Pepperell, MA for 13 years and had also worked at Hitchiner Manufacturing Company, Milford. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she especially enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking. Mrs. Ovens was predeceased by her husband, Louis A. Ovens, who died in 1995. Family members include four daughters, Cynthia R. Parker of Ware, MA, Edith C. Cutler of Milford, Nancy L. Cheney of Hollis, NH and Gloria F. Wright of Florida; three sons, Louis A. Ovens, Jr., Arthur C. Ovens and Gerald A. Ovens, all of Milford; 16 Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren; one Great-Great Grandchild; many nieces and nephews. A visiting hour will be held on Thursday, August 23rd from 9:00-10:00 am in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will be in North Cemetery, Hollis, NH.
