Estelle L. Hilton

Estelle L. Hilton, 84, of South Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully at her daughter�s home on January 8, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Londonderry, NH on July 31, 1925, a daughter of the late Edward and Estella (Long) Parker. Mrs. Hilton lived in South Toms River for 12 years before moving to Derry, NH in 1991. She moved back to NJ four years ago and has enjoyed spending time with her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. She and her late husband were foster parents for newborn babies until they were adopted. Mrs. Hilton retired as a nurse�s aide after working in the New England States for many years. She was a member of the DAV Auxiliary in MA and NJ. She was predeceased by her husband Clifford; her granddaughter, Deborah Calheiros and grandson, Ricardo Calheiros Jr. Family members include her son, Clifford Hilton, Jr. and his wife, Eileen of Mont Vernon, NH; her daughter, Meredith Calheiros and her husband, Ricardo, Sr. of South Toms River, NJ; her grandchildren, Christopher, Timothy, Jennifer, Katelyn, Adrienne, Kenneth, Pamela and Dawn; and great grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jacqueline, Aslyn, Alexis and Kylie. Visiting hours are Monday evening, January 11th from 5:00-7:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, Mont Vernon, NH, in the spring.
