Elisabeth A. Bailey

Elisabeth A. Bailey, 90, lifelong resident of Milford, NH died on August 16, 2017 at the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH. She was born in Milford on August 29, 1926, a daughter of Dr. George Hilton, MD and Ethel (Lancaster) Hilton. Elisabeth was raised and educated in Milford and graduated from Milford High School. She was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church of Milford, UCC and Custos Morum Rebekah Lodge #23, Milford. In addition, she enjoyed spending time gardening. Elisabeth was predeceased by her husband, Charles F. Bailey, who died in 2008; a brother, George L. Hilton; and a brother- in-law, Robert Bailey. Family members include her sister-in-law, Phyllis Bailey of Moultonborough, NH; several nieces and nephews, Janice A. Amante and her husband, John, David Hilton and George Hilton all of Merrimack, NH, Barb Bailey-Giroux of Moultonborough, NH and Scott Bailey of Strafford, NH. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Arbors of Bedford and the GPU unit at the Elliot Hospital. There are no visiting hours. Services will be private.
