E.J. Betty Richards

E.J. Betty Richards, 92, resident of Milford died on April 23, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua, NH. She was born in Cornwell, England on May 24, 1921, a daughter of Frank and Esther (Wilcox) Richards. Betty made her home in the Milford and Wilton area for more than 50 years and for the past 5 years had resided at the Pillsbury Home in Milford. She previously lived in Pittsfield, MA. She had been employed by Abbott Machine Company in Wilton for over 20 years and had also worked at Souhegan National Bank, Milford. Betty was a member and very active in the Church of Our Saviour. In addition, she was a member of Puritan Charity Themis Atlantic Chapter #29, Order of Eastern Star and had also served as Past Worthy Matron. She is survived by several dear friends. There are no visiting hours. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 28th at 10:00 am in the Church of Our Saviour, 10 Amherst Street, Milford. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of Our Saviour Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 237, Milford, NH 03055.
