Easton L. Noel

Easton Lohman Noel, lovingly known as “Buggy,” passed away peacefully on January 26th, 2025, at Boston Children's Hospital surrounded by loved ones. Like his arrival, his departure (also at 11:12 p.m.) was challenging yet meaningful to everyone who shared in his life.

Easton was born on December 30th, 2003, in Mobile, Alabama and resided in Pepperell, Massachusetts.

Easton is survived by his mother Kelly Noel and father Johnny Noel. As well as Kelly’s significant other, Chris Alger, Johnny's wife Stephanie Noel, grandma Sharon Christenson and papa John Noel. He was preceded in death by his grandpa Arlynn Christenson, who was glued at the hip to Easton. Their special bond was evident to everyone. Also, Easton's beloved English Mastiff Mabel, whom he shared 12 years of a very special relationship with. In one instance Mabel politely used her Mastiff body, with love, at a Pumpkin Festival to keep anyone from getting too close to his stroller.

Easton's biggest gift to life was his infectious smile and laugh, along with the ability to make immediate Impressions of love, connection and care. His lifelong love for “My First Pal, Elmo” who comforted him to the end, exemplifies his magnetic loving personality. Easton spent countless hours watching sports, always with his reliable chewy tube, piano, and musical farm toy constantly playing "she'll be coming round the mountain" or 'Oh Suzanna' within reach. Yes, Easton always made noise, the good noise that you never get tired of or ever want to mute. To hear Easton laugh was to know the happiness in his soul. And, if you had the pleasure of hearing it, you knew you meant the world to him. Easton was and always will be the joy and the light in the lives of many. Easton loved holding hands, which holds the promise in our hearts we will forever be together.

Easton was a student at Keystone Collaborative School in Fitchburg, MA. He loved his school experiences, teachers, and classmates. During his final days, Easton was visited by many who loved him, including a teacher who shared that he was "pure love" and that "no matter who the person is, he always loves them instantly for who they were. He made them feel special and important." Now, this doesn't mean that, at times, Easton didn’t like to get into mischief; he was notorious for leaving the classroom and tracking down a teacher, grabbing their hand and taking a nice long walk, often to avoid his school work. Easton had a special love for all who cared for him in his school and in his home.

With his magnificent smile and belly laugh, Easton will be lovingly remembered by all he touched for a life that gave much more than it ever demanded in return.

His family, with full hearts, would like to thank his caregivers, teachers, dedicated paraprofessionals, doctors, and nurses.
