Anthony M. Wojcicki, D.M.D., M.Sc.D., a well-known Orthodontist and Pediatric Dentist, in Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home at 170 Amherst St., Amherst, NH on May 1, 2013. He loved life and lived with his usual energy and joy until the very end. Those who knew and loved him were awed and inspired by his courage and dedication to wellness and life, in-spite of a long battle with heart disease. Despite his many personal and professional accomplishments, at heart, Tony was a simple, humble and unassuming man with an enormous zest for life and living. He will be remembered by his family, many friends and colleagues for his wonderful humor, many and varied hobbies, and his great love of dentistry. While he embraced living fully and passionately, his greatest joy was sharing his life with his beloved wife, his dearest children, treasured friends, wonderful patients and the devoted team that he cherished during his long career. His love of family extended around the world, including Ireland, England and the United States. Tony was raised in Worcester, MA, attended the College of the Holy Cross, earned his D.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and went on to post-graduate training at Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry (M.Sc.D. and Specialty in Pediatric Dentistry) and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (Specialty in Orthodontics). Tony enjoyed teaching positions at Boston University, Tufts University and Harvard University/Childrens Hospital. He was a member of multiple dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics (retired), American Association of Pediatric Dentistry (retired), NH Dental Society and the Greater Nashua District Dental Society (former secretary, president). He practiced as a dual-specialist in orthodontics and pediatric dentistry at 155 Kinsley Street, Nashua, NH for many years. Besides his loving wife of 39 years, Caroline, he is survived by his daughter, Dr. Kelly S. Wojcicki of Rye, NH, his son, A. Dane Wojcicki of Portland, ME; his sister and brother-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Robert Norman of Newtown, PA. Calling hours are on Thursday, May 9th from 4:00-8:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 am in St. Patrick Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford. In lieu of flowers, his family would like to ask for your thoughts and prayers. Donations may be made to SHARE Outreach, Inc., 1 Columbus Avenue, Milford, NH 03055 and the Greater Nashua Dental Connection, 31 Cross Street, Nashua, NH 03064.
