Doris Ann (McCormack) McDonald, 80, of Ellenton, FL passed away on January 21, 2016. She was born in Nashua, NH on January 26, 1935, the daughter of Dorothy and Donald McCormack. Doris grew up in Milford, NH, a member of a large family. She graduated from Milford High School, Class of 1952. She attended St. Joseph School of Nursing for a period of time and married Ross Jensen in 1954. Doris and Ross had six children and were very active in the Brookline, NH community. She worked as a secretary for TJ McCartney for years and was a member of the Brookline Volunteer Ambulance Service. Doris married her second husband, John Hubley in 1984, moved to Newport, VT and enjoyed a life on the shorefront of Lake Memphremagog. Doris and John moved to Florida and enjoyed life until John’s passing in 2005. Doris was also predeceased by her son, Curt Jensen and her daughter, Sara Jane Jensen. Doris is survived by her husband, John McDonald of Ellenton, FL; his two children, David McDonald and Mary Jane May. Doris’ children include her sons, R. Gary Jensen and his wife Deb of Wilton, NH, Eric Jensen and his wife Helen of Brookline, NH, Kris Jensen and his wife Linda Mossey of Milford, NH; her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Jensen and her husband Jonathan Sheehan of West Chesterfield, NH and daughter in-law, Jodi Jensen of Brookline, NH. Her siblings include, Donna Leavitt and her husband Edward of Putnam, CT, Janet VanValkenburg of Milford, NH, Donald Alan McCormack of Bradenton, FL, Judy Pearcy and her husband Floyd of West Boylston, MA, Sharon Stein of East Hampton CT, Daniel McCormack and his partner Janet Davis of South China, ME, Susan Babine and her husband Bill of Goffstown, NH; Grandchildren include, Krystal, Jared and Andrew Jensen, Ben and Brad Jensen, Daniel Mossey, Maycn and Jered Clifford, Cheyann Ellis, Chaloe Tyler, John and Emily McDonald, Taylor and Morgan May; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held on February 27th at 11:00 am in the First Congregational Church, 10 Union Street, Milford, NH 03055 followed by a reception at the parish house.
