Donna L. O'Connell

Donna L. O'Connell, 76 of Amherst, passed away unexpectedly

on February 27th at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

Donna was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts. She lovingly raised her

family in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, where she resided for over 30 years.

After a career as a real estate appraiser, she retired to Amherst with her

husband in 2006.

Donna enjoyed cooking, travelling, reading, playing cards with friends, spending time

with her family and playing with her cat, Rose.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Frederick O'Connell, her son James O'Connell

and his spouse Patricia, her daughter Diane O'Connell and her spouse Jack Yee, her mother Doris Wass,

her sister Janet Thibeault and her spouse Dave, her sister Jo-Ann Stone and her spouse Lou, her

brother Charlie Turnesa and his spouse Marilyn, her two beloved "Nana's Boys": her

grandsons Andrew and Spencer O'Connell, and several caring nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial visiting hours are on Wednesday, March 8th from 5:00-7:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral
