Dolores M. Daigle

Dolores M. (Michaud) Daigle, 82, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2021, after a long illness in Bedford, New Hampshire. Born in Caribou, Maine on July 7, 1938, the daughter of Felix and Sophie (Thompson) Michaud. Raised and educated in Caribou, she entered in the teaching profession obtaining a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine at Fort Kent in Education. She then taught 35 years in the Caribou school system enjoying the experience of teaching children at Teague Park School upon retirement in 1993. After retiring, Dolores along with her husband James relocated to Wilmington, VT for 16 years. Later they resided in New Hampshire for 6 years to be near their children. Dolores had a passion for gardening and teaching. She also enjoyed shopping and being with family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Gerald and Reginald Michaud; her in-laws Norman and Priscilla Daigle; and a nephew, Corbett Snyder.. Family members include her husband of 62 years, James L. Daigle of New Ipswich, NH; a son and daughter in law, Steven and Kathy Daigle of New Ipswich, NH; a daughter and son in law, Dennis and Denise Coughlin of Broad brook, CT; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sandra and David Snyder; a beloved niece and great nephew, Kathryn and Parker Dow as well as many nieces and nephews.
