Dion E. Vath Sr.

Dion E. Vath, 74, resident of Epsom, NH died on May 3, 2023 at the Epsom Heath Center after a period of declining health.

He was born on December 1, 1948 in New Haven, CT, a son of the late Harold and Renee (Ozoux) Vath Jr.

Dion was a graduate of Alvirne High School, Hudson, NH. He later attended Daniel Webster College in Nashua for his associate degree.

A resident of Milford for over thirty-five years, Dion, worked for many years at Batesville Casket Company as a laborer. He married Sarah (Quigley) in 1968 and together raised their family here locally. Dion was an avid history buff, enjoyed listening to his transistor radio, going for walks and a nice chess match.

In addition to his parents Dion was predeceased by his two sons, Dana and Dion Vath and his brother, Harold Vath III.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Vath of Tilton, NH, Daughter, Diane Whaley of Hopkinton, NH, his grandson, Jeremy Vath of Hopkinton, NH.

SERVICES: Private services will be held in the Riverside Cemetery, Milford, NH.
