Diane M. Mclaughlin

Diane M. McLaughlin, 76, resident of Amherst, NH, died on November 25, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Boston, MA on January 17, 1938, a daughter of Agnes (Stimpson) Kelley of Hudson, NH and the late John Kelley. Mrs. McLaughlin made her home in Amherst for more than 49 years. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, working on all types of crafts and taking trips to the beach. She had worked at Filtronics, Sanders Associates and Kollsman Instruments. Mrs. McLaughlin was a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and cherished time spent with her family. She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph Kelley and John Kelley. In addition to her mother, family members include her husband, Francis P. McLaughlin of Amherst; two daughters and a son-in-law, Beverly and Robert Gaulin of Amherst, and Diane McLaughlin of Franklin, NH; three grandchildren, Sarah Smith, Meghan McLaughlin-Dudley and Helene Gibbs; four great grandchildren, Olivia Smith, Connor Patrick McLaughlin, Jaylin Gibbs and Aylah Gibbs-Dinger; and a sister, Dona Kelley Lopez of Lunenburg, MA. Calling hours are on Sunday, November 30th from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 am in St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford. Burial will follow in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
