Dennis G. Knowles

Dennis G. Knowles 56, of Milford passed away peacefully on February 22, 2025 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua New Hampshire. Dennis was born August 29, 1968 to Stephen and Linda (Caron) Knowles. Originally from Nashua, Dennis’ family moved to Milford when he was two years old. Dennis and his younger brother David would go on to attend the Milford Area Senior High School. This would be where Dennis would graduate with the class of 1986 and remain a part of the community for the years to follow. He married his now ex wife, LeeAnne who continued to remain his best friend until his passing. LeeAnne and Dennis had two boys , Zacharey and Jared. Dennis’ hobbies included tinkering on an old engine: Be it three wheelers, tractors or his truck, spending time with friends and family, or listening to his favorite music and reliving his youth. He was also a dedicated employee of Ciardelli Fuel. Starting with them in 1999 and helping them grow their business as well as becoming the most well known face of their company for many years until he became ill with COPD in 2021. His 22 year career was one of his proudest achievements, outside of his children. This was mostly due in part to the countless friends and acquaintances his job brought him. He would always have a tale to tell about his days pulling a hose.

Dennis is predeceased by his parents and is survived by his brother David, David’s wife Michelle and their daughter Samantha. Dennis’ ex wife and best friend, LeeAnne and her husband. His son Zacharey and Zacharey’s fiancée Jennifer Williams. His son Jared, his cousin Christopher and Christopher’s wife Barbara. In-laws, Pete and Paulette Braffitt, many nieces and nephews and countless friends and family members. Dennis will be remembered by his many stories about his customers, his love for antique tractors, BBQ ribs, and for sitting on his front porch waving to all the traffic passing by. The family extends their most sincere thanks to the staff at Southern NH Medical Center ICU department for the incredible level of care they provided during his time with them. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the American Lung Association to help assist with further research for patients with COPD.

A celebration of life will be held summer of 2025 at Dennis’ childhood home for friends and family to come and celebrate his life, his legacy and his memory.
