Deanna E. Brede

Deanna E. Brede, 80, resident of Fort Myers, FL, died on March 16 2018, at Shell Point Hospice, Fort Myers, FL. She was born in Detroit, MI on May 2, 1937 a daughter of Laurence and Esther (Isaacsen) Dienst. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from the Luther Memorial School of Nursing in Chicago, IL and had been employed both in California and Nashua, NH for many years in a variety of nursing specialties. Mrs. Brede lived in Florida for the past 11 years, having resided in both Fort Myers and The Villages and formerly made her home in Hollis, NH for more than 25 years and prior to that in California for 15 years. While living in New Hampshire, she was a member of the Congregational Church in both Nashua and Hollis, NH. Family members include her husband of 57 years, Stephen K. Brede of Fort Myers, FL; a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Todd Brede and Jennifer Brede of Amherst and their children, Erin and Erica, a daughter and son-in-law, Laurie E. and Steve Taub of Fort Myers, FL and their children, Erik, Scott, and Deanna Maria. She is also survived by two sisters, Karen Tracy and Janice Hemphill, of OH and CA respectively, as well as several nieces and nephews. Deanna loved life, animals of all kinds, skiing, golfing, sailing, painting, and working with horses. She also volunteered for many years at the Hollis schools. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 10:00am in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. Burial will follow in East Cemetery, Wheeler Road, Hollis, NH.
