Constance J. “Connie” Molis, 89, lifelong resident of Milford, died on August 5, 2015 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Milford on July 13, 1926, a daughter of Earle and Marion (Leonard) Randall. She was raised and educated in Milford and graduated from Milford High School Class of 1944. She then went through nurse’s training at Memorial Hospital in Nashua where she received her RN degree. Connie was the church secretary at the First Congregational Church of Milford for many years. She was an active member of the church choir and the Laura G. Heald Club. She volunteered in many programs, church fairs, and blood drives. Connie loved music: she played the piano throughout her life; she later played the recorder, occasionally accompanying the church choir. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She was a loving mother and a devoted grandmother. In her younger years, Connie spent many hours knitting and crocheting as well as sewing her own clothes. She also enjoyed camping and traveling with her family. In her later years, Connie loved doing crossword puzzles as well as playing along with her favorite shows “Jeopardy” and “Wheel of Fortune”. She also got great enjoyment in laughing along with “America’s Funniest Home Videos”. Connie was predeceased by her brother, Leonard “Buddy” Randall of Mont Vernon, NH, and her former husband of many years, Frank Molis of Milford, NH. Family members include her daughter, Barbara Molis of Milford, NH; her sons, David Molis and his wife Robin of Amherst, NH and Steven Molis and his wife Holly of Brewster, NY and Rand Nelson and his wife Christine of San Diego, Cal; her sister, Cynthia Cox of Milford, NH; seven grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and several cousins. There are no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held on August 22, 2015 at 10:00 AM in The First Congregational Church of Milford, 10 Union Street, Milford. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Marguerite Sawyer Scholarship Fund, c/o First Congregational Church of Milford, P.O. Box 188, Milford, NH 03055, and the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, NH 03054.
