Clara (Medlyn) Kendall, 92, passed away on July 13, 2020 in Venice, Florida. Clara was born in Milford, NH on June 28, 1928, the daughter of the late Ernest and Lucy (Moyle) Medlyn. She graduated from Milford High School in 1946 and married her high school sweetheart, Bob Kendall. She worked at the Souhegan Bank until she and Bob started Kendall’s Gas and Appliance in Milford. While working with Bob, they raised their three children. After the business was sold, she worked as a bookkeeper for The County Stores. Clara and Bob retired in 1988, dividing their time between Hernando Beach, FL and their lakeside camp on Deering Lake. She and Bob led an active life in retirement, enjoying boating, golfing, bowling and her favorite, playing pool at the local VFW. Clara also enjoyed gardening, entertaining and cooking for family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Bob; her son, Tom Kendall; and her four brothers, Sil, Ernest (Med), Bill and Alfred (Hank). Clara is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marge and Mike Murphy of Venice, Florida; and her son, Jeff Kendall of Nashua, NH. She is also survived by her beloved eight grandchildren, Jayma Brown, Kimberly Riendeau, Rob Kendall, Erik Kendall, Samantha Goodie, Jeff Murphy, Daryn Murphy and Kelley Jacobson. She leaves ten great grandchildren, who she was affectionately known as GG. She also is survived by many special nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all her family who relished their time swimming, boating, fishing, playing cards and just enjoying her lake house. Due to COVID, there will be a private family service at a later date.
