CLAIRE M. SHEPARDSON � DATELINE:�NASHUA, NH Claire M. Shepardson, 55, resident of Nashua, NH, died August 24, 2007 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Nashua. � She was born in Chelsea, MA on February 19, 1952, a daughter of Marie Zoe (Forbes) MacDonald of Amherst, NH and the late Arthur MacDonald. � Ms. Shepardson was raised and educated in Hudson, NH and graduated from Alvirne High School.�� For the past 25 years, she resided in Nashua, NH. � She enjoyed board games, including cribbage, dominoes, backgammon and loved working on her computer.�� In addition, she was an avid sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox. � Throughout her struggles with muscular dystrophy, she was an inspiration to those who knew her and will be remembered for her positive attitude, fantastic sense of humor and her heart warming laugh. � She was a devoted mother, grandmother and a loving daughter. � In addition to her mother, family members include her son and daughter-in-law, David & Cheryl Shepardson of Derry, NH; a granddaughter, Abigail Shepardson of Derry, NH; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Stephen & Linda MacDonald of Worcester, VT, Paul & Judi MacDonald of Merrimack, NH, Ross MacDonald of Merrimack, NH; five sisters and four brothers-in-law, Jane & Mark Pidhorodecky of Lawrenceville, GA, Lois & Steve Johnson of Amherst, NH, Chris & Dan Silva of Roswell, GA, Zoe & Jim Doane and Marie Wells all of Milford, NH; several aunts, uncles, cousins; many nieces and nephews. � Visiting hours are Monday, August 27th from 5-8 pm in the�Smith & Heald Funeral Home,�63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. �Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Milford United Methodist Church, 327 North River Road, Milford, NH.�Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford, at a later date.�In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 360 Route 101, Unit #5, Bedford, NH�03110.�Smith & Heald Funeral Home, Milford, is in charge of arrangements.
