Christopher G. Kelley

Christopher G. Kelley, 52, resident of Bedford, NH, died September 2, 2012 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Boston, MA on August 27, 1960, a son of Claudia (Dolley) Kelley of Merrimack, NH and the late Edward J. Kelley. Raised and educated in New Hampshire, Chris graduated from Merrimack High School and the University of New Hampshire. He made his home in Bedford for the past 15 years and formerly lived in Manchester, NH. He worked in the construction industry for many years and was employed by Skanska USA in Boston, MA as a general superintendent for the past 14 years. In addition, Chris was a member of the UNH Civil Engineering Advisory Board. He enjoyed skiing and especially watching his children play soccer. A loving husband, father and son, he was deeply devoted to his family. Chris was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Bedford. In addition to his mother, family members include his wife of 22 years, Mary (Delaney) Kelley of Bedford; three children, Sam J. Kelley, Sarah E. Kelley and Natalie R. Kelley, all of Bedford; two brothers, Stephen G. Kelley of Bensheim, Germany and Michael G. Kelley of Charlestown, MA; two sisters, Roberta F. Ross of Crofton, MD and Jennifer F. Sontag of Merrimack, NH; his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Delaney of Storrs, CT; many nieces, nephews, an aunt and several cousins. Calling hours are Friday, September 7th from 5:00-8:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 am in St. Elizabeth Seton Parish, 190 Meetinghouse Road, Bedford. Burial will follow in Bedford Center Cemetery, Bedford.
