Charlotte Stewart Scott formerly of Amherst and Milford, NH and Gloucester, MA, passed away on May 14, 2021 after a brief illness, with family and hospice care to support a peaceful journey to reunite with her late Husband, Stephen A Scott. She was born in Pepperell, MA on May 26, 1928, the youngest daughter of George A. Stewart and Alma Veraconda Hills Stewart. She was educated in Pepperell and Somerville public school systems. Mrs. Scott was a Past member of Souhegan Grange, Cricket Corner Club of Amherst, NH, 4-H Leader, practical nurse and kindergarten teacher. With her husband, Stephen A Scott (Scottie), they owned and operated Laura Lyn Farm selling vegetables, baked goods and seasonal displays of flowers, and pumpkins for decades in Amherst. She served in WWII in the Army Air Force Fighter Command as a member of the Army Air Forces Aircraft Warning Service She is survived by: Daughter Kathleen L. Smith (Scott) of Vergennes VT, Daughter R Faye Geisel (Scott) and husband Frederick Geisel of Gloucester, MA; Grandchildren: Jeffrey Smith and wife Missy, close family friend Kimberly Smith Bickham, Douglas Smith and wife Holly, Rebecca D’Avignon (Smith) of VT, Molly Geisel Vigil and husband Brian of Denver, CO, Kevin Geisel and wife Jessica of Gloucester, MA; Great Grandchildren: Stephen Smith, Sydney Smith, Sierra Smith, Shayla Smith, Dustin Wright of VT, Theadora Geisel and Oliver Geisel of Gloucester, MA; and many nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service only will be held on May 26th at 11:00am in Cricket Corner Cemetery, Amherst, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Stephen and Charlotte Scott to Hillsborough County 4-H Club: UNH Cooperative Extension - Hillsborough County, 329 Mast Road, Room 101, Goffstown, NH 03045, or to Milford Ambulance Service, 66 Elm Street, Milford, NH 03055 or Amherst Fire Rescue, 177 Amherst Street, P.O. Box 1199, Amherst, NH 03031, and earmarked for EMS Transport. Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.
