Charlotte H. Pollock

�Charlotte H. Pollock, 76, resident of Wilton, NH, died September 22, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua, NH.� She was born in Lowell, MA on March 10, 1932, a daughter of the late Harold & Mildred (Gott) McCallum.� Mrs. Pollock was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1950 and graduated from Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1953.� She had been a resident of Wilton, NH since 1953 and wintered in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida for many years.� As a registered nurse, Mrs. Pollocks career included hospital, hospice and home healthcare nursing. She was employed by Monadnock VNA for 17 years and had also worked as a case manager for a division of Travelers Insurance Company.� In addition, she was the school nurse in Wilton for several years.� She volunteered much of her time for the American Red Cross and worked at many clinics and blood drives in the area.� She loved to knit and was an avid skier.� She was a member of the Wilton Ski Club, National Ski Patrol and N.E. Sled Dog Club. Mrs. Pollock was one of the founders of Goss Park Youth Center, Wilton, NH and served many years on her high school class reunion committee.� While wintering in Florida, she was the social director for her condo association and served as secretary for the board of directors.� Family members include her husband with whom she celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on September 19th, Robert B. Pollock of Wilton, NH; a daughter, Sandra J. Pollock of Princeton, NJ; two sons, Scott W. Pollock and his wife, Karen Hatch of Nashua, NH, John H. Pollock of Milford, NH and his partner, Clare McCarthy of Francestown, NH; two grandchildren, Nick Hatch and Terra Hatch.����� Visiting hours are Thursday, September 25th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.� A private graveside service will be held in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Wilton, at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross, 28 Concord Street, Nashua, NH� 03064.�
