Charlotte E. Shoff

Charlotte E. Shoff, 86, resident of Claremont, NH died on February 3, 2015 at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, NH, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Windsor, Vermont on April 2, 1928, the daughter of Frank F. and Rena (Johnson) Tolbert. Mrs. Shoff made her home in Claremont since 1997 and formerly lived in Milford for 20 years. While living in Milford, she attended and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Nashua, NH and Ricciardi Hartshorn Post #23, American Legion Auxiliary, Milford. Mrs. Shoff had been employed at Montgomery Ward in Nashua, retiring in 1990. She was predeceased by her husband, Lang D. Shoff. Family members include three daughters, Doris E. Fontaine of Claremont, NH, Judith Parkinson of Sutton, NH, and Donna Ruel of Georges Mills, NH; three stepchildren, Linda Smith of Amherst, NH, Cindi Gureckis of Belmont, NH and Curt McCarson of Littleton, NH; eight grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6th from 12:00-12:30 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. A life celebration will follow at 12:30 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Ladies Union Aid Society, c/o Valley Regional Hospital, 243 Elm Street, Claremont, NH 03743.
