Charles R. Putnam

Charles R. Putnam, 71, resident of Northfield, NH died on April 12, 2016 at Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, NH. He was born in Kittery, Maine on February 27, 1945, a son of Walter F. Putnam, Sr. and Shirley T. (Long) Putnam. Charles attended the Laconia State School and had also lived in Nashua, NH. He had worked at Waterville Valley Ski Resort and Nashua Memorial Hospital for several years. In addition, he loved all types of sports and was a devoted Boston Red Sox fan. Family members include two brothers, Walter F. Putnam, Jr. of Maine and Mike E. Putnam of Milford; a sister, Penny Sheldon of Salisbury, NH; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and several cousins. There are no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 14th at 1:30 p.m. in Riverside Cemetery, 454 Nashua Street, Milford.
