Charles M. Provasoli, 95, resident of Deland, FL, died on May 23, 2014 at his home. He was born in Milford, NH on October 9, 1918, a son of Agostino and Ambrogina (Puricelli) Provasoli. Mr. Provasoli made his home in Milford for 60 years and resided in Florida for the past 35 years. . He owned and operated Wilton Plumbing & Heating for 30 years and later sold his business to Draper Fuel retiring in 1978. Mr. Provasoli was an active parishioner of St. Peters Church in Florida. While living in New Hampshire, he was a member of Milford Council #3035, Knights of Columbus. Mr. Provasoli was a U.S. Army veteran having served during World War II in the Aleutian Islands and was honorably discharged in 1945 with the rank of Corporal. He was a member of Ricciardi Hartshorn Post #23 American Legion and Harley Sanford Post #4368 VFW, Milford. He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth M. (Styles) Provasoli; three sisters, Josephine Pedrotti, Emma Forsyth and Mary Comolli; and two brothers, Tullio Provasoli and John Provasoli. Family members include many nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 31st at 10:00 am in St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford. Burial with military honors will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Share Outreach Inc., 1 Columbus Avenue, Milford, NH 03055.
